We are a BBQ Competition /Catering team. I started cooking at our local tailgate parties in the mid to late 80s. Very much been cooking and grilling every weekend from then on. In 1998 I attended my first bbq competition… Memphis in May! Yep jumped right in the deep end. After many years of competing folks started asking me to come cook for them at parties and open house functions. Started to do some company picnics, this turned into a part time business. I just kept putting the cash back into the (what my wife called my hobby) and grew from there. As I am good in crowds and talking to anyone and everyone who will listen. I started landing gigs from larger corporations. We had actually built a full time business. I just left all my other businesses by the way side. Besides, who wouldn’t want to do what we do??
Bareknuckles BBQ has cooked at over 200 contests and have won many awards and praise for our food and service. We have traveled all over the country and overseas to cook bbq. All over the southeast. Also Washington DC, Reno NV, Las Vegas, Houston Livestock BBQ, Puerto Rico for the Caribbean BBQ Championship. Also each year we are invited to the Jack Daniels World Invitational BBQ Contest to be a Judge and a guest cook for VIP Guests on BBQ Hill.
We specialize in Tailgate parties and picnic type set ups. We are well known for our grilling and just cooking great food. BBQ Is the main stay for our business but we do whatever the client wants. We just don’t say NO! We also have sauce commercially bottled as I cannot meet the demand.
I think our real Specialty is our Service; we take care of everything, for corporate events and everything it takes to get our customers satisfied.
We have been a featured team on Destination Americas BBQ Pitmasters. This show has impacted over 3.5 million Plus viewers since the first episode. We were also featured on Travel Channels American Grilled where we won 10k for making 3 grilled dishes. Featured Chef On Food Networks Chopped Grillmasters Champion and finalistI have also done local TV spots in other cites featured on their grilling and smoking segments.
Our Schedule of events varies from year to year but we are all about bbq and cooking every day of the year!!
